My Everyday Make-up Routine for School! ♡

Hey everyone!

I haven't posted in basically forever and I am so sorry. Basically, I have had no time to write up anything as I am in year 10 now and I have a load of work to do. A couple of weeks ago I got a camera. It was the Nikon D3200 and I bought it myself with my own money just before anyone asks. It was my birthday last month so the money I got from my family and friends also contributed to the cost of the camera, as it was pretty expensive. So, the other day I had a little free time and I whipped out the fairy lights, some makeup and took some christmassy pictures for my blog. Not gonna lie I am pretty proud of the photos I took.

So today I am going to be doing my everyday makeup routine for school and you'll get to see all the products I use and the christmassy photos I took!

Just before I do my makeup I of course have to moisturise, so I used the 'Clean&Clear dual action moisturiser'.

I then headed onto concealer as I don't like wearing foundation to school. I used the 'Collection Lasting Perfection in dark 4'. I love this concealer as it works very well for me because it is very high coverage, affordable at only £4 and it lasts a very long time. I only applied the concealer under my eyes, nose, chin, forehead and on any blemishes I may have that I would like to cover up. I also then blended in all the concealer with my real techniques buffing brush.

Next, I set my concealer with the 'Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder'. I only applied this powder on my t-zone because that is where I am most oily and under my eyes as I would like my concealer to stay there all throughout the school day. This powder retails for about £4. As you can see from the photo the powder is well loved as I have hit pan and the writing is starting to wear away. Is it just me or does anyone else find it highly satisfying when they hit pan? Because I love it!

After I have set my concealer I will then head on to bronzing and highlighting my face. I don't really like contouring heaving for school so I just lightly dust on the bronzer where I would usually contour just to give me and added definition to my cheekbones. I use the 'Seventeen Define&Conquer contour kit' which can I just add I LOVE!! It has got to be my favourite contour kit ever as both powders are matte and very pigmented. I love how the matte highlighter just instantly brightens up your face and how the matte contour adds a really nice definition to your face. This kit sells at around £6. This is also another well loved product of mine as I have nearly run out of it!! I am going to have to go pop into boots very soon.

Now it is time for the lashes! To start off with I use the benefit eyelash primer which I got for free from the ELLE magazine. The magazine itself costed £4 so technically I bought the primer for £4. I do really like this primer as it does add a lot of length to my lashes. My eyelashes do look a lot longer with the primer than without. Some days I don't use the primer as I am not really in the mood for it everyday.

Once I have coated my eyelashes with the primer I don't wait for the primer to dry I just head on into applying my mascara. Applying your mascara while the primer is still wet makes your eyelashes look a lot better than waiting for the primer to dry and then adding your mascara as I have found that it makes your eyelashes look clumpy when you do it like that and no one likes clumpy mascara. The mascara I use is the 'Rimmel Wake Me Up' mascara. I won this mascara in a competition Rimmel was holding on their twitter so again I got this product for free. In store this mascara is around £8. This is one of my favourite mascaras at the moment. It just makes your eyelashes look really nice, long, voluminous and fluttery.

And that is it for my everyday school makeup routine! On average it take me around 10-15 minutes to do this makeup in the morning as it is very quick and simple because I only use like 5 products. If you liked this post please let me know down below in the comments!

Thanks so much for reading and again I am so sorry for not posting in ages.

I love you all soooooooo much!

Lots of Love.
